MINI DOGON DOOR (WEST AFRICA)

This miniature wooden granary door is handcrafted by the Dogon people in West Africa. The Dogon tribe is renowned for their complex religious beliefs and their love of decoration. Traditional granary doors feature a wood latch and is used to guard the entrance into a round building placed on stilts that houses the precious grain. This beautiful decor piece comes on a stand.
